A must stop when visiting the NJ shore area. Memories has been an institution since the summer of 1972. Julio first danced there the weekend of his college graduation. Memories is only open during the summer months from Memorial Day to Labor Day. Friday/Sat/Sun. There is no food here only dancing, drinking, dancing, and did I mention drinking? Friday night is mostly the older crowd, yours truly included. Saturdays has the younger folks with a change in music very apparent. Sundays are like jam sessions. Everything and everybody. Some Sundays there is live entertainment by famous oldies groups. Make it a point to experience the club, you won't be disappointed. Make sure when entering Memories you proceed to the front right Bar where Jerry's Daughter Desire' is usually stationed. She is the ultimate doll. Quick, attentive, and mixes a great drink !
